10 Classic Disco House Records Every DJ Should Own & Play

Updated: Jul 21, 2022

Disco House has been with us a long time now and has many sub genres attached to it from French Disco House to Nu-Disco etc. There are some of us who like it more harder than those of us who prefer the more Yacht Rock type slow mo Disco grooves, but regardless of the sub genres, we all love the staples which were produced in the 90's and it is here where I myself cut my teeth playing these grooves back in the day. None of the tracks below were hits in the commercial sense but they are certainly classics from that era and they still sound as contemporary as the day they were made.

So here are ten killer tracks from the golden age of disco sampled house music which you should own in any chosen format and in no particular order and with no explanation as the music will do the talking. Just check out the tracks and head off to Discogs to grab a copy or if they are available on download then go direct to your favorite digital store and add it to your weaponry of dance floor bullets. Enjoy.
